The Little House of Learning
Yachay Wasicha is a complementary educational program — it works alongside children's formal schooling, reinforcing what they learn in the classroom while nurturing the parts of a child that formal schooling rarely has room for: emotional growth, creative expression, cultural rootedness, and practical skills for daily life. Each day, up to seventy children come not only to learn, but to be known, nourished, and cared for.
Language & Culture
Life Skills & Wellness:
Keeping Quechua and Andean identity alive and strong. Traditional cultural practices Storytelling and oral history.
English language instruction

Opening the wider world through English language classes.
Academic Classes:
Strong, transferable skills that support and extend what children learn in formal school.

Reading and writing.
Science and nature studies.
